THE RUG FOR FIVE PEOPLE: 1975

Still continuing the idea of the coat as a collective garment of transformation,
I realized a Rug For Five People as part of an artists' circus (with some twenty participants) which took place at the Musée d'Ixelles
after the opening of the exhibition "I/We."

Organized in collaboration with Harold Szeemann
for the Belgian newspaper "POUR",

Including:
An exposition with approximately 50 international artists:
Carl André, Joseph Beuys, Daniel Buren, James Lee Byars, Robert Filliou, Anette Messager,
Nicola L., Herman Nitsch, Yoko Ono, and others.

Following the opening, 20 artists took part in a circus-style performance where
each artist did his/her number.

A catalog of 300 pages, where before and after the event each artist had
the opportunity to express themselves.
